Without ever having met in person, we started the project remotely, communicating daily via WhatsApp, calls, and constant updates. We defined the program, style, construction decisions, documentation, contracts, and work plan.
Construction progressed smoothly. When the project was about 70% complete, the clients traveled to choose finishing materials and finalize details. It was only then that we met in person: with the house already taking real shape.
The funny part came next: they decided to make a sign that said "Made by WhatsApp." The neighborhood was so intrigued that the house ended up being named after it.
This experience confirms something: when there is a process, documentation and follow-up, distance ceases to be a problem.
